Each of these paintings is handmade by Yai as a unique piece. The colours, material, size of the motif and fabrics can be individually selected according to the customer's wishes. The artist does her best to paint the pictures as similar as possible, but with handwork small differences are always possible. Of course, the motifs can also be made in series, e.g. on room dividers, curtains or as shop window decorations.
Yai studied fine arts in Chiang Mai and also teaches. Her speciality is traditional Thai art with gold leaf, which is very famous for the art in temples. Through her experience with fine traditional Thai art, she is very skilled and can paint pictures repeatedly.
